A Special Thanks To Those Who Gave Back On Thanksgiving

I hope that everyone has had a good week. As some of you know I have alot of mixed emotions toward the holiday we call Thanksgiving. I didn’t bother writing one of those long conflicted posts this time around. Frankly, I don’t have the energy.

I am aware that I rarely pass up an opportunity to criticize folks these days but for today I call a truce.

Special shoutout to everyone who took time out of their busy schedules this past week to take care of someone else in need or set a positive example for the people that look up to them.

This post will feature a couple of clips that I was able to find of celebrities giving back to their communities in one way or another by handing out turkey’s or giving out hot meals.

Nicki Minaj comes back to her Elementary school P.S 45 to talk to students and give out Turkeys with the Hot 97 staff.

Young Money/Cash Money founder, CEO, rapper, and local, Bryan “Birdman” Williams, spent the Monday of Thanksgiving week with his brother and business partner, Ronald “Slim” Williams. They reportedly gave away 2000 turkeys to families in New Orleans this year.

For as long as Cash Money Records has been running they have given out turkeys in New Orleans.

That tradition did not change this year, as Birdman, Slim, Gudda Gudda, Mack Maine and Mystikal all took it to New Orleans to hand out Turkey dinners to families in New Orleans.
