While browsing MSN.com I couldn’t help but notice this title Supreme Court: Strip searches in jail… I couldn’t pass this one up.
It seems that Albert Florence, a falsely accused New Jersey man spent 1 week in jail for a minor offense (unpaid fine). During said week Florence was taken to two different jails. At each facility he had been forced to strip down for inspection as part of the admission process. Florence was later cleared of the charges but decided to take legal action because he had been forced to participate in a strip search even though he was only charged with a minor infraction.
